Under the Glass
While the natural desert outside has its fair share of vegetation, the interior of Biosphere 2 is lush—even overgrown—with plants from five biomes. The biome boundaries have become less well-defined over the last 30 years, as can be seen here at the junction of the savanna, marsh, and desert.
